How to request a user certificate
from OCA server
To request a certificate using SSO authentication, open you browser
window and open the OracleAS Certificate authority user interface by
using the following URL.
https://<hostname.domain>:4400/oca/user
Click the User Certificates tab, now you should be able to select a
method to verify your identity.
The following are the different methods to verify your identity:
- Use your OracleAS Single Sign-On name and password
- Use your existing certificate
- Use manual approval / authentication
Assuming you select the �Use your OracleAS Single Sign-On name and
password� option, you will get the Single Sign-On page. Enter you
SSO Username and password and the click on the �login� icon.
You will see the �User Certificates � SSO Authentication� page.
Click on the �Get Certificate� button to get a certification. Use
the new form to request a certificate for a SSO user, and click
Submit. Now, the OCA server will generate the user certificate and
will store it in the OID server. To store the certificate in your
browser click on the �Import to Browser� button, and then click OK.
You can also request for a client certificate by using the manual
approval authentication:
To request for a client certificate by using the manual approval
authentication, click on the �Use Manual approval/authentication�
option in the �Authentication� page. Click Submit.
Click on the �Request a Certificate� button to request a certificate
to get a certificate. On the certificate request Form, enter your
details information and then click Submit.
Make a note on the request ID and then click OK. Now, you should
wait since the OCA administration should approve your request.
Now, the OCA administrator can use the OCA administration interface
to approve your request. |
